Creepy Camping Weekend at Lake Iowa Park!

Come out to Lake Iowa Park for Creep Camping Weekend!

Friday September 24th:  

6-7:30pm - Campfire Stories and Smores at the nature playscape fire ring. Bring a chair and some smore supplies to share, and listen to stories around the campfire with Naturalist Mary Bulger! RSVP to mbulger@co.iowa.ia.us  

7pm Camper Decorating Contest begins. Winner will be announced on the 25th at 4pm before the Costume Contest.

Saturday September 25th:  

10-11am Pumpkin Rolling Contest - $5 per pumpkin, meet at the Roundhouse  

12:30p until finished Dummyboard Contest: $20 per team, meet behind the nature center.  

4pm Announce the winner of Camper Decorating Contest.  And Costume Contest, meet behind the nature center.

5-7pm Trick-or-Treating in the Campground.  For the safety of all the participants, the roads in the campground  will be closed to vehicle traffic at this time.
