A campground with 99 campsites, shower/restroom facilities and picnic shelters provide for a summer family retreat. A 7 acre fishing lake, provides an excellent location to fish for large mouth bass, bluegill and catfish. Picnic areas with playground equipment, flush restrooms and picnic shelters are available for daily usage. A basketball court, baseball and softball fields are also located in the park.

Additionally, the park has a diverse array of scenic backdrops; including, a fishing pier, covered bridge, and natural foliage settings that are utilized by photographers for inspirational, family and senior class pictures.

The Marion County Historical Society maintains a historical village at the park, complete with a log cabin, museum, country schoolhouse, church, general store and stagecoach inn; that are open for display on weekends from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
