Explore eastern Iowa in a two-day extravaganza! At the port of Dubuque, we will board the
Celebration Belle for a 5-hour cruise on the Mississippi River. Enjoy live
music of the “Classic Oldies” while cruising on the mighty Mississippi River.
Music and food will be bountiful on the ship.
Following the cruise, we will travel via motorcoach to the scenic vista
of Eagle Point Park in Dubuque. Supper will be at Timmerman’s in East
Dubuque.
Day 2 will begin with breakfast at the hotel. The first stop of the day is a tour of the
largest Tiffany Stained glass window collection at St. Luke’s Methodist Church
in Dubuque. Our journey continues as we
travel to Dyersville. There we will tour
the historic and beautiful Basilica of St. Frances of Xavier, eat lunch at the
unique Palace Saloon, and visit the National Farm and Toy Museum. Our final stop of the day is the famous Field
of Dreams with a special visit from a ghost player. Bring your camera and sense
of adventure for this two-day exploration of eastern Iowa.
