Picnic in the Park
Ringgold County Conservation is excited to announce the 2022 Picnic in the Park schedule! On the first Tuesday of every month through the summer season, Ringgold County Conservation will collaborate with a local food vender to offer you an exciting picnic in the park experience. During the picnic, Director Kate Zimmerman will offer a FREE 30-minute educational program starting at Noon.
The Picnic in the Park will be held at Poe Hollow Park, just east of Mount Ayr, Iowa. The Food Vendor and program will be located at the Hawkins Hideaway Shelter (middle shelter). Anyone is welcome to come to the park to purchase food from our vendor during their serving hours!! Picnic tables will be set up and spaced outside the shelter house for you to have lunch or get your food to go!!
