The Alton Roadside Park was Sioux County Conservation Boards first approved park in 1961. The 11 acres of this area offer up a small 5 acre fishing pond, both open air and enclosed picnic shelters, picnic tables, modern comfort station (open seasonally), seasonal camping, playground equipment, and space to stretch out and relax on your afternoon drive. There are many fish that may be found in the fishing pond including: Bluegill, Catfish, Crappie, Largemouth Bass, Perch, Smallmouth Bass, and Walleye.

Junction of Hwy 10 and Old Hwy 60.

Camping, enclosed shelter house and modern restrooms closed mid October thru mid April.
