Located 5 miles south of Alton, IA on Highway 60 near the small community of Carnes, IA. There are 36 acres made up mainly of prairie habitat and is adjacent to the Floyd River. This area was added to the management of Sioux County Conservation board in 2001. The prairie habitat provides great cover for upland game.
