Mairet Farms

Overview

Mairet Farms opened in 2009 under the leadership of Shane Mairet a recent graduate of Iowa State University with a background in agriculture and business. His wife Karin Mairet joined him in 2015. As Mairet Farms grew as a business so did their small family. Both Karin and Shane were born and raised in Iowa with direct ties to Iowa farming. Additionally, Karin and Shane work as Iowa educators, teaching the next generation of Iowa grown students. With their commitment to supporting their local community and providing locals with farm fresh products. Shane and his parents raised honeybees not only to support their crops but to provide local honey to residents.

In 2022, Mairet Farms added the Family Farmyard to their pumpkin season, bringing families from across the region to enjoy a little bit of fall farm freshness.Mairet Farms has a variety of seasonal products and employs young people from the local communities they serve to foster a love of farming and agriculture. In the future Mairet Farms will strive to strengthen their business by adding more amenities and features to the summer and fall seasons.
