    • I understand that additional tents, dunk tanks, bouncy houses or any other additional structures are prohibited.
    • If you decide to cancel, there is no refund.
    • I understand that it is unlawful to operate or use any radio, stereo, television, drone, musical instrument, electrical generating plant, power or chain saw, or any similar equipment in or on any area in such a manner as to create excessive noise and/or disturb other persons.
    • If the kitchen is used, it must be cleaned. There will be cleaning instructions & supplies provided.

    Rental Contract Agreement

    1. The person responsible for the rental must be at least 18 years of age. No minors are to be left unattended.
    2. Please be courteous and notify the office if you decide not to use the shelter.
    3. If YOU decide to cancel, there is no refund.
    4. The shelter and surrounding area must be cleaned and vacated by 10:30 PM.
    5. All fires are to be in receptacles only. Absolutely no ashes in the trash barrels.
    6. There is no keg beer or hard liquor allowed in the shelter.
    7. The Park Rangers reserve the right to remove any pet should problems arise.
    8. Park Rangers are given the authority to refuse rental privileges and rescind any and all rental permits for cause.
    9. All rules and regulations of Black Hawk County Conservation Board facilities and parks are in effect.
    10. It is unlawful to operate or use any radio, stereo, television, drone, musical instrument, electrical generating plant, power or chain saw, or any similar equipment in or on any area in such a manner as to create excessive noise and/or disturb other persons.

    Cancellation Policy

    Please contact the Black Hawk County Conservation Board as soon as possible if you need to cancel.

    Refund Policy

    Should you decide to cancel, there are no refunds. 

    Archers is an open-air shelter with the capacity to seat 150 people. The beautiful surroundings, combined with a playground, a sand volleyball court & a basketball court make this an ideal place to hold any of your events. There is also a kitchen and flush toilets available for your use.

     

    Additional tents, dunk tanks, bouncy houses or any other additional structures are prohibited.

    Check-In / Out Availability Check-in is after 06:00 AM and check-out is before 10:30 PM.

    Location Archers is located on the west end of Casey Lake in Hickory Hills Park.

    Fees

    Archers rents for $100/day.

    If you decide to cancel, there is no refund. 

    A date change will be allowed ONE time only & can only be made by calling the Conservation Office at (319) 433-7275 and will be assessed a $25 administrative fee. 

    Hours of Operation & Seasons

    Archers is open from spring through fall, weather permitting. This shelter can be reserved from 6:00 AM - 10:00 PM.
