Earth Week - Wildflower Walk

Event Summary

Will Earth Week provide some spring ephemeral wildflower beauty? We sure hope so! We will be hosting a walk on the North Side of Heery Woods on both paved and unpaved trails through the woodlands. We will be looking for the early spring wildflowers of the forest, and we may even pull a little garlic mustard (an invasive plant found in these woods) along the way. Come dressed to be on and off a paved trail and ready to test your flower identification skills.

The walk will begin at the shelter house just inside the park.

All ages are welcome to join. So put on those walking shoes and get outside during Earth Week!
