Event Summary
The Outdoor FUND Day is a family-friendly event for all ages. We will have many activities for you to participate in, a walking taco lunch, treats for sale, and even some storytelling, silent auction, raffle sales and drawing, and even a live owl. Each person will receive one ticket to enter for a door prize, and drawings will take place throughout the day.
Below you will find a list of planned activities and a schedule of our storytellers and presenters.
10:30 AM - Gates Open
11:00 AM - All activities and lunch serving begins.
11:00 AM - Buchanan County will bring their live owl for an up close, educational encounter for all ages. This is sure to be a great experience. Bring a chair or a blanket for sitting on the lawn and learning about this bird of prey.
12:30 PM - Steve Martin (former Butler CCB Naturalist) will return to do some story-telling for you. If you have never heard his stories, be sure to join us for this presentation. Bring a blanket or chair for sitting on the lawn.
2:00 PM - Dan Forry (former Butler CCB Park Ranger) will join us for a story-telling session as well. He will certainly put on a show for all of you, so make sure to bring a chair or a blanket to be entertained on the lawn.
2:30 PM - Silent Auction Bidding Ceases
2:45 PM - Raffle Drawing for Kayak and Henry Goldenboy 22 and Silent Auction winners announced
3:00 PM - Event Ends
