Halloween Hikes - Nature's Superheroes

Event Summary

It is time for the Annual Halloween Hikes with Butler, Bremer and Chickasaw Counties. The theme this year is Nature's Superheroes, and it is taking place in Butler County on Tuesday, October 21. You will walk a short, lime-chip, candle-lit trail through the woods to meet five of Nature's Superheroes - BAT-man, SPIDER-man, Black Panther, The WASP, and Wolverine. These animals will tell you all about their amazing super powers that lead to superheroes getting their names. This is a great, non-scary and educational evening for families of all ages. After your walk, you can enjoy some refreshments and tasty treats in the lodge. This event is FREE.

Please register by calling 319-346-6551. We will need to know your name, what hike time you would like (6:00 PM, 6:15 PM, 6:30 PM, or 6:45 PM), the number in your group, and a phone number where you can be reached.

Registration begins on October 1 at 7:00 AM.

While walk-ins are welcome, we cannot guarantee you a certain hike time - as each hike time is limited for participants.
