Wild Kids Camp

Event Summary

Your 5 to 7 year old camper is in for three days of getting wild about nature. Camp will take place at Heery Woods Park - South Side, and all information will be provided with the camp letter and waiver. This camp will be planned and lead by the summer naturalist assistant (with the help of the naturalist), and more details will be posted in the summer.

The cost is $30 per child.

Camp will run from 9:00 to 2:00 daily.

Campers will need to bring a lunch and refillable water bottle each day. Snacks and all other camp materials will be provided. 

Registration is required online only, and space is limited so register early. Camp forms must be downloaded from the camp description page, filled out and returned via e-mail to awittrock@butlercounty.iowa.gov within two weeks of receiving your registration confirmation. 

We will begin taking registrations March 2, 2026. If you are a paid member of "The Friends of Butler County Conservation," you will receive a code for $5 off registration.

You can register online only. And don't forget to fill out and return those forms.
