Event Summary

Butler County Conservation and the Iowa Prairie Network is hosting a scenic trail ride Saturday 6/28! At 9 am, we will meet at Crafty As Cass in Allison, where fresh-brewed coffee and treats are available for purchase from The Coffee Baa. At 10 am, we ride approximately 7 miles on the Rolling Prairie Bike Trail weaving through old railroad and prairie landscapes. Expect wildflower stops where expert Laura Fisher Walter, from Iowa Prairie Network, will be our guide to discuss native grasses and wildflowers. When we reach Clarksville, you can refuel with a hearty lunch featuring delicious local bites and refreshing brews at The Honky Tonk, where door prizes will be distributed. Riders are free to leave and complete the loop back to Allison to finish the Wild Rose Prairie Ride! All food and beverages are available for purchase only at registrant's expense.
