This is our group campsite. It holds up to 6 camping units and has a large fire 'ring' to share (with cooking grate). There are electric hook-ups for 20, 30 and 50 amp plugs. Water is also provided. The group camping loop is a short distance to the hiking trail and lake. There is a minimum 2 night stay in the group site.


Check-In / Out Availability Check-in is after 01:00 PM and check-out is before 11:00 AM.

Location Airport Lake is located just NW of New Hampton at 2047 190th St., New Hampton, Iowa.The campground is located on the North end of the park.

The group campsite provides hook-ups for up to 6 campers and has water on site. There is a large fire ring with cooking grate. There is a showerhouse with flush toilets and a dump station next to the dumpster.

Fees

$110 per night

A 2 night minimum is required on weekends

A 3 night minimum is required on holidays

If you decide to cancel, there is no refund

Upon EMERGENCY, a date change may be allowed ONE time only upon Director approval & can only be made by calling the Conservation Office at (641) 394-4714. Changes will not be allowed because of weather.

Permits

General Camping Rules

  • No Refunds for Cancellations
  • Camping permitted only in designated areas
  • Only one camping unit per site, one family per site - may have an additional tent for children under 18 only
  • Build fires in rings provided only, do not burn trash
  • Bag all trash and place in dumpster
  • ALL pets must be on a leash not exceeding 6' in length, kenneled or tethered at ALL times... clean up after your pet
  • No person shall remove, destroy or injure any animal, tree, shrub or flower
  • SPEED LIMIT is 15 MPH
  • Quiet hours are 10:30 PM to 6 AM Only registered campers are permitted in area after 10:30 PM
