    • Failure to clean up the facility or surrounding area as outlined, or failure to comply with park rules or state laws may result in enforcement action. Clinton County Conservation Board may take any legal action necessary to recover damages to county property.
    • ALCOHOL USE. No person or group shall bring, use, have in their possession on any area, beer in a keg, or any other container larger than 40 ounces without first obtaining a special use permit from the Director or his authorized representative. The request for the special use permit shall be made in writing at least two weeks prior to the date of the activity.
    • You must be 21 years of age.

    Rental Contract Agreement

    By your agreement with these terms and conditions, you represent that you are 21 years of age or older and that you are authorized to make the reservation on behalf of the group you have listed. You further agree to assume full responsibility for the acts, negligence or omissions of the members of your group while utilizing said facilities. Additionally, you agree that you have read and understand the CANCELLATION and REFUND POLICIES concerning this reservation, and have also read and understand the FACILITY CONTRACT information You are reserving a facility in a Clinton County park. ALL CLINTON COUNTY RULES AND REGULATIONS AND STATE LAWS ARE ENFORCED. Contact the Park Ranger listed on your reservation confirmation email if you have any questions about park rules, policies or special requests. FAILURE TO CLEAN UP THE FACILITY OR SURROUNDING AREA AS OUTLINED, OR FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH PARK RULES OR STATE LAWS MAY RESULT IN ENFORCEMENT ACTION. Clinton County Conservation may take any legal action necessary to recover damages to county property. CHECK-IN TIME:        Cabins- After 3:00 PM on the day of arrival      CHECK-OUT TIME: Cabins - Before 1:00 PM on day of departure GETTING INTO A FACILITY A key to the cabin is available via lock box located on the outside of the park maintenance building next to the Ranger residence. CLEAN-UP You are required to cleanup the facility and grounds and return them to the condition you received them. Plan to have your facility cleaned and people departed prior to your scheduled checkout time. Cleanup instructions are posted in the cabin. VISITORS All visitors (other than registered overnight campers) must depart the area by 10:00 PM, park closing time. SMOKING Clinton County is a smoke-free environment. Smoking is prohibited in all buildings. PARKING Parking is confined to designated parking areas. If you anticipate more vehicles than spaces provided, please contact the Park Ranger in advance. No parking or driving off roadways.

    Cancellation Policy

    Please consider this policy prior to purchasing your facility reservation. SHOULD YOU CHOOSE TO CANCEL A RESERVATION, YOU WILL FORFEIT 100% OF ALL RESERVATION FEES PAID.

    Youth Group Rules

    Organized Youth Groups such as Boy and Girl Scouts, Church groups, 4-H clubs, etc. may obtain a discounted price on facility rental by phoning the Conservation Office at (563) 847-7202. Do Not make an online reservation before phoning our office to verify your discount. If you choose to make your reservation online, you will pay the full rate.

    Refund Policy

    Please understand at the time of booking your reservation that you immediately prohibit other people from reserving & utilizing that facility - they therefore go elsewhere to locate a facility for that date. We will observe a NON-REFUNDABLE reservation fee policy with the following exceptions: Accident, serious injury or death of an immediate family member Travel conditions where a substantial risk is required in order to travel such as a winter storm where a travel advisory has been issued. We are unable to provide your facility (or like facility) in operable condition for the date of your event ALL cancellations or requests for refunds cannot be done online and must be made by calling the Conservation Office at (563) 847-7202. DATE CHANGES All date changes must be made by calling the Conservation Office at (563) 847-7202. Recognize that we must first administratively cancel your existing online reservation, and then create a second reservation for the new date. An Administrative Fee of $25 will be assessed to complete this transaction. Please consider this procedure prior to making your initial reservation.

    The Miss Elk-Ton Cabin is an ADA compliant, fully accessible cabin that sleeps up to 8 people. The cabin includes a queen-size adjustable bed that raises and lowers for easy access, two sets of twin size bunk beds, a full-size sofa sleeper, table/chairs. Kitchen with refrigerator, microwave, electric cook top, coffee maker, toaster, and sink. Central Heat/AC. Bathroom has accessible roll-in shower. There is also has an accessible picnic table and fire ring outside. Bedding, towels, and kitchen cookware and utensils are not provided. NO PETS ALLOWED.    SUPPLIES PROVIDED: Toilet tissue, broom & dustpan. Refuse must be removed to a nearby dumpster.  *RENTER WILL NEED TO BRING: Complete bedding (see sizes above) including a pillow, sheets, blankets and/or sleeping bags; complete cooking & eating utensils; dish soap, dish cloths & towels, potholders, food & beverage supplies; All bath linens & toiletries; lawn chairs (if desired). Large gatherings (more than 10 people) are prohibited.  Rent--$150/night payable by Visa or Mastercard. Sorry, but we are currently unable to accept Discover cards. Firewood available per request (prior to rental) at $5.00 per bundle.

    Winter Rates: $100/night from November 1 through March 31.

    Summer Rates: $150/night  payable by Visa or Mastercard. Sorry, but we are currently unable to accept Discover cards.
