    • I am 21 years of age or older.
    • ALCOHOL USE - No person or group shall bring, use, have in their possession on any area, beer in a keg, or any other container larger than 40 ounces without first obtaining a special use permit from the Director or his authorized representative. The request for the special use permit shall be made in writing at least two weeks prior to the date of the activity.

    Rental Contract Agreement

    By your agreement with these terms and conditions, you represent that you are 21 years of age or older and that you are authorized to make the reservation on behalf of the group you have listed. You further agree to assume full responsibility for the acts, negligence or omissions of the members of your group while utilizing said facilities. Additionally, you agree that you have read and understand the CANCELLATION and REFUND POLICIES concerning this reservation and have also read and understand the FACILITY CONTRACT information You are reserving a facility in a Clinton County Park. ALL CLINTON COUNTY RULES AND REGULATIONS AND STATE LAWS ARE ENFORCED. Contact the Park Supervisor listed on your reservation confirmation email if you have any questions about park rules, policies or special requests. FAILURE TO CLEAN UP THE FACILITY OR SURROUNDING AREA AS OUTLINED, OR FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH PARK RULES OR STATE LAWS MAY RESULT IN ENFORCEMENT ACTION. Clinton County Conservation may take any legal action necessary to recover damages to county property.

    CHECK-IN TIME:       
    Cabins- After 3:00 PM on the day of arrival    

    CHECK-OUT TIME:
    Cabins - Before 1:00 PM on day of departure

    GETTING INTO A FACILITY
    A four-digit code you create will be used to unlock the facility's door.

    CLEAN-UP
    You are required to clean-up the facility and grounds and return them to the condition you received them. Plan to have your facility cleaned and people departed prior to your scheduled check-out time. Clean-up instructions are posted in the cabin.

    VISITORS
    All visitors (other than registered overnight campers) must depart the area by 10:00 PM, park closing time.

    SMOKING
    Clinton County is a smoke-free environment. Smoking is prohibited in all buildings.

    PARKING
    Parking is confined to designated parking areas. If you anticipate more vehicles than spaces provided, please contact the Park Supervisor in advance. No parking or driving off roadways is allowed.

    Cancellation Policy

    Please consider this policy prior to purchasing your facility reservation.

    SHOULD YOU CHOOSE TO CANCEL A RESERVATION, YOU WILL FORFEIT 100% OF ALL RESERVATION FEES PAID.

    Youth Group Rules

    Organized Youth Groups such as Boy and Girl Scouts, Church groups, 4-H clubs, etc. may obtain a discounted price on facility rental by phoning the Conservation Office at (563) 847-7202. Do Not make an online reservation before phoning our office to verify a youth group discount. If you choose to make your reservation online, you will pay the full rate.

    Refund Policy

    Please understand once your reservation is booked, you prohibit other people from reserving the facility - they therefore go elsewhere to locate a facility for that date. We will observe a NON-REFUNDABLE reservation fee policy with the following exceptions:

    • Accident, serious injury or death of an immediate family member
    • Travel conditions where a substantial risk is required in order to travel such as a winter storm where a travel advisory has been issued
    • We are unable to provide your facility (or like facility) in operable condition for the date of your event

    ALL cancellations or requests for refunds cannot be done online and must be made by calling the Conservation Office at (563) 847-7202.

    DATE CHANGES
    All date changes must be made by calling the Conservation Office at (563) 847-7202. Recognize that we must first administratively cancel your existing online reservation, and then create a second reservation for the new date. An Administrative Fee of $25 will be assessed to complete this transaction. Please consider this procedure prior to making your initial reservation.

    Book Your Next Stay!

    There are two rentable cabins located near the Nature Center at Eden Valley Refuge. Each cabin sleeps 4 people. 

    Heat/AC, a small fridge, and microwave are provided. A fire-ring/grill and picnic table are located outside each cabin. Guests are provided year-round access to the temperature controlled modern shower facility located in the nearby Nature Center. Bedding, towels, and kitchen utensils are not provided.

    Pets are allowed.

    Check-In / Out Availability Check-in is after 03:00 PM and check-out is before 11:00 AM.

    The cabins are located behind the Nature Center. Parking is provided in the Nature Center parking area.

    The camping cabins provide basic amenities that include air conditioning, heat, electricity, a small refrigerator and microwave oven. A picnic table and fire-ring with grill is located outside each cabin. WiFi is available at each cabin. The password is posted inside the facility.

    Fees

    A two-night minimum is required. Holiday weekends require a 3-night stay. Reservations must be made 6 days in advance.

    $50/night Monday through Thursday and $60.00/night Friday through Sunday payable by Visa or Mastercard.

    Sorry, but we are unable to accept Discover. 


    Hours of Operation & Seasons

    The cabins are reservable year-round.

    Winter Use (November to April)

    Restrooms facilities are only open to registered guests during the winter months. The access code you select upon reservation will allow you entry to both the shower facility and cabin. Outdoor water hydrants may be unavailable, so plan your stay accordingly.
