    • I understand that dogs are only allowed with the payment of a $50 fee per reservation. All dogs must be leashed outside at all times.
    • I understand the minimum age to reserve a cabin is 21.
    • I understand that a damage security deposit must be mailed to the Dallas County Conservation Board Office, 14581 K Ave, Perry, IA 50220 after completing this reservation.
    • I understand that if I cancel the reservation, 50% of the rental fee will be returned only if the Dallas County Conservation Board is able to re-rent the facility for those same days.

    Rental Contract Agreement

    • Rental cabin check-in is 3:00pm. Check-out is 11:00am.
    • See posted checklist in cabin for check-out procedures and expectations.
    • Each cabin site may have one additional small tent, for immediate family only.
    • One vehicle may be parked at each cabin. Additional vehicles must park in visitor parking.
    • Camping and campfires are permitted in designated areas only.
    • Firewood must be sourced from Dallas County. Kindling and fallen small limbs may be used. Removing branches from trees is not permitted.
    • Do not leave fires unattended. Ensure fires are completely extinguished before departure.
    • Trash must be removed by campers upon departure.
    • May- October, the entrance gate will be closed 10:00pm-8:00am, but will not be locked. Quiet hours are 10:00pm-6:00am.
    • November-April, the entrance gate will be closed 5:00pm-8:00am, but will not be locked. Quiet hours are 10:00pm-6:00am.
    • Damaging or removing man-made property, natural formations, or vegetative growth such as flowers, is prohibited.
    • Picking edible annuals - such as nuts, berries, and mushrooms - is permitted.
    • Hoofed animals, motorized vehicles, and other power-driven mobility devices are not permitted on nature trails.
    • Keg beer is prohibited.
    • Smoking is prohibited inside the cabins. Please dispose of litter resulting from smoking outside.
    • Dogs are only allowed inside the cabins with the payment of a $50 fee per reservation. Dogs must remain on a leash, no longer than 6 feet long, while outside at all times. Please dispose of pet waste.
    • Respect boundary marker signs.
    • DCCB reserves the right to enter the cabin for maintenance or security problems.
    • All rules and regulations of the DCCB and State of Iowa apply.

Following the stay, the cabin will be inspected for damage, the need for excessive cleaning, and adherence to rules, which could result in loss of the deposit. If the cabin passes inspection, the security deposit check will be shredded or returned.

    This all-season, 18' x 14' cabin sleeps 5 people, with 2 bunk beds, one with a double futon on the bottom. The full bathroom has an ADA shower. The kitchenette has a microwave, mini-fridge, and coffeemaker. You provide your own pillows, linens, and sense of adventure!

    Railroad Ave becomes 130th St as it curves north.
    In about ¼ mile, the road curves east again. At that bend, the entrance gate is on the left.

    Rates

    Weekdays (Sun-Thurs): $65 per night

    Weekends (Fri-Sat): $75 per night (Fri & Sat nights must be booked together)         

    Weekly: Please call 515-465-3577 for our special weekly rate!

    Dog Fee: $50 non-refundable fee per reservation if bringing one or more dogs

    $100 security deposit is required for the cabin. This needs to be cash or check; made out to Dallas County Conservation Board. This has to mailed or brought into the office 2 weeks prior to the stay. The security deposit is separate from the reservation fee. 

    Please note that payments made through mycountyparks.com will appear as from "Dallas County Treasurer".
