    • I understand that all pets are prohibited inside the Lodge. All pets must be leashed outside at all times.
    • I understand that if I cancel the reservation, 50% the rental fee will be returned only if the Dallas County Conservation Board is able to re-rent the facility for those same days.
    • I understand that I must mail a security/damage deposit to the Dallas County Conservation Board Office, 14581 K Ave, Perry, IA 50220 after completing this reservation.

    Rental Contract Agreement

    * Minimum age to reserve the lodge is 21 years old.
    * Decorations may be attached to the wall as with sticky tac only. Nails, staples, tacks, scotch tape, duct tape, packing tape or any adhesive tape may not be used on any surface inside or outside the building including the floors. However, eyehooks are attached to the ceiling of the lodge that may be used for decorating.
    * Do not litter. Please pick up and remove all debris, including pieces of balloons, paper, etc.
    * Please be considerate of other park users. Do not play music too loudly or in any way affect others enjoyment of the area.
    *  Drive slowly and carefully. Obey all posted signs.
    * All reservations end at 10:00 pm and the area must be vacated before that time. Only registered campers are allowed in the areas with camping after 10:00 P.M.
    * Keg beer requires a "Keg Permit".  A $100 deposit is required per keg.

    Cancellation Policy

    You must contact the Dallas County Conservation Board office at 515-465-3577 to cancel your reservation.  

    If you cancel the reservation, 50% of your rental fee will be returned only if the Dallas County Conservation Board is able to re-rent the facility for those same days.

    The business office is open 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday.

    Sportsman's Lodge is perfect for wedding receptions, family & class reunions, bridal & baby showers, retreats & meetings.

    Seats up to 120 guests and includes 15 8' tables.

    Check-In / Out Availability Check-in is after 08:00 AM and check-out is before 10:00 PM.

    In Dawson, follow Railroad Ave east approximately ¾ mile.
    Railroad Ave becomes 130th St as it curves north.
    In about ¼ mile, the road curves east again. At that bend, the entrance gate is on the left.

    Fees

    • Daily Fee:  $150
    • $150 deposit check is required for reservations. The security deposit needs to be cash or check; made out to Dallas County Conservation Board. If the Dallas County Conservation Board determines that regulations were not followed, the deposit may be forfeited. Following your reservation and after passing an inspection, the deposit check will be shredded. This must be paid 2 weeks prior to your stay. 
    • Online reservations must be made a minimum of 3 days prior to arrival. For example, a reservation for Friday must be made by the Tuesday prior.
    • To cancel reservation, call Dallas County Conservation Board at 515-465-3577. 50% of the rental fee will be returned if the facility is re-rented for the same time period.
    • Payments made through mycountyparks.com will appear as from "Dallas County Treasurer".

    Hours of Operation & Seasons

    • May –October, Sportsman Park is open 8am-10pm. Restrooms are open.
      November-April, Sportsman Park is open 8am-5pm. Restrooms are closed.
    • Sportsman Lodge is available for rent year-round, weather permitting.
    • Check-in is at 8:00am year-round. 
      May-October, check-out is at 10:00pm.
      November-April, check-out is at 5:00pm.
