Fall Float at Slip Bluff Park

Event Summary

Join us for a Fall Float at Slip Bluff Park! Take in the beautiful fall colors at Slip Bluff while kayaking around the lake. Kayaking will be from 3:00-4:30pm. Then we will have Hot Apple Cider, Hot Chocolate, and Dutch Oven Apple Crisp ready for you to enjoy between 4:30-5:00pm. This event is FREE for all ages. Please use this address to get to the park: 27351 Slip Bluff Road Davis City, IA 50065. Then turn at the brown boat ramp sign.

Bring your own kayak or reserve one! DCCB has 10 kayaks available to reserve on a first come, first served basis for this event. Please comment on the post within the Facebook event or email Kayla if you would like to reserve a kayak. We will update how many kayaks are available in the event as they are reserved. If using a DCCB kayak, please note that there is only one person allowed per kayak, you will have to wear a life jacket, and you must be 8 years of age or older to use a DCCB kayak. There will also be a waiver to sign before using the kayaks.
