Partial Solar Eclipse Observation

Event Summary
If you would like to safely observe the partial solar eclipse in Iowa then bring a camp chair and join us.
Meet in the grassy area between the Hamilton County Conservation Office and the Boone River Bike Trail.
Park in the office parking lot and join us at the picnic tables in front of the office.
We do have a limited number of Certified Eclipse Safety Viewing Glasses so we may have to take turns and share.
We will observe the moon pass between the Earth and Sun as we are in the moons shadow during this spectacular event.
The solar eclipse begins at 12:43 pm, peaks at 1:58 pm, and ends at 3:13 pm CST.
