Event Summary
Have you wondered how to process a deer and make deer jerky, summer sausage, burgers, steaks, and roasts? If so come and participate in meat cutting, grinding, packaging, mixing sausage, mixing jerky, and using a jerky gun. We will discuss how to use smokers, dehydrators, ovens, and grills to prepare your venison. Meat processing is a skill that everyone used to posses in order to survive on the frontier. We will have some jerky samples for people to sample. We will have a rear deer quarter to process into roasts, steaks or for grinding. The program is limited to the first 50 people who register online only. Be sure to register so you can participate in this program.
