Candy Cane Hike / A Christmas in the City Event

Event Summary

Come and hike the Woodland and Prairie Trail by Shelter 2 at Briggs Woods Park with the County Naturalist.

Search for hidden Candy Canes hanging on trees, bushes, and logs.

We will go over the legend of the Candy Cane before the hike.  

John Laird, Naturalist, will point out any wildlife that the group encounters along the hike.

Dress appropriately for the cold weather conditions.

The hike starts promptly at 2 pm only. There is a limited number of candy canes to gather and participants must share the picking of candy canes.

Hot Cocoa and cookies will be provided at Shelter 2 compliments of Webster City Church of Christ after the hike.
