Fireside Chat at Camp WaNoKi / Flint Knapping

Event Summary

Join us as we explore this ancient human practice of Flint Knapping

We will try to create stone tools by striking and shaping flint into usable projectile points. blades, or scrappers.

Early human societies all practiced making stone tools by understanding strike angles and developing controlled flaking skills.

This is a joint program between Webster and Hamilton County Conservation Boards.
