Crawford Creek Recreation Area
Crawford Creek Recreation Area is a modern, 260-acre park, located 3 miles south of Battle Creek, IA. Established in 1975, the park has become an oasis for those seeking a quick get away or a weekend retreat. The 62-acre Crawford Creek Lake serves as a major
recreational and fishing area, abundantly stocked with largemouth bass, bluegill, crappie and channel catfish. Any size motors may be used on the lake, but must be operated at a “no wake” speed. A concrete boat ramp, fishing jetties and docks provide easy fishing access.

Operating Hours & Seasons
Camping at CCRA is open from May 1st through October 15th. Water will not be accessible outside of these dates. For additional rental or camping dates, please contact the ICCB office at (712) 364-3300 or zhall@idacountyia.us.
The park opens at 6:00 AM and closes every night at 10:30 PM.
