Sac County Conservation Center


Overview

A large two level environmental education building which houses four offices, an exhibit area, classroom, library, kitchen and two storm shelters.  The Conservation Center is completely handicap accessible.  The upper level consists of an exhibit area to display several animal mounts, interactive displays, an observation deck, restrooms, kitchenette and will have a smaller scale gift shop.  The lower level will include a classroom utilized by schools, youth & civic groups, as well as several local organizations.  The library serves as a small meeting room equipped with several environmental books and magazines that can be checked out. There is also internet access available for individuals wanting to do project research or school work in a quiet setting.
