Bark Rangers

Jackson County parks are fun places for people and pets to enjoy! The Bark Ranger program encourages families to get out and explore in a safe way that follows park rules and keeps all park goers safe.

The Bark Ranger program is a widespread program made up of National, State, County, and City parks. Each park has their own way of doing the program, some with activities and swag available. Check out more areas with Bark Ranger programs by looking at their website, US Bark Rangers.

All pets must be on a leash at all times

Off leash dogs are allowed for the purpose of hunting only

Many of our parks offer hunting opportunities during designated hunting seasons, check hunting seasons before hiking
