Event Summary
Rock wrapping is an artistic and nature-inspired craft where stones are bound with materials like string, yarn, twine, or cane to create decorative, sculptural items. Learn the basics of rock wrapping and some beginner friendly wraps to make your very own wrapped stone! Instructions will be provided, along with a demonstration at the beginning, and then participants will have time to make their own rock and explore the various designs.
This event is free and supplies will be provided, but participants are welcome to bring their own rocks. Palm sized rocks are recommended.
Registration is requested by April 1 at 4:00 PM.
The event will be at the Hurstville Interpretive Center on Friday, April 3rd at 2PM.
