Event Summary

Lace up your bots and enjoy a spring hike in search of the extremely early blooming skunk cabbage! 

Skunk cabbage emerges in early spring in Eastern Iowa and grows in wet areas, including the hanging bog at Swiss Valley. 

Dress for the weather and be prepared to hike 2-3 miles. 

This event is at Swiss Valley Nature Center. Meet in the parking lot.
