Prairie Flower Bouquets

Event Summary

Iowa used to be dominated by prairie grasslands. During this program learn about the history and importance of Iowa’s prairies, then go out and enjoy a hike collecting prairie flowers to create your own beautiful bouquet. Naturalist Macey will help identify plants as well as answer any questions. Bring your own vase, or use your vase from the upcycle vase painting class! Clippers will be provided or bring your own. This program is free and open to all ages! Registration is encouraged.
