Winter Tree ID (Option 1: Friday, Feb 27)

Event Summary

Learn expert tree ID - using twigs, bark, buds, and other fine details to tell what trees are around you. This program features indoor classroom learning paired with a 2-hour outdoor slow hike to learn about a selection of native trees around the CEC. This program is best suited to adults. No prior tree identification background needed.

We take photos during our public events. If you do not wish to be in any photos, please send an advance email to the contact listed. 

Registration automatically closes one day in advance. If you are fully registered, you can expect to receive an email "receipt" from MyCountyParks after registration. You will also receive an email from the leading naturalist a couple days in advance of the program. If you do not receive these emails, you may not be registered; call 319-645-1011 for assistance in this case.
