Rental Contract Agreement

By your agreement with these terms and conditions, you represent that you are 18 years or older (21 years of age if beer or wine will be available at your campsite) and that you are authorized to make the reservation on behalf of the camping party you have listed. You further agree to assume full responsibility for the acts, negligence or omissions of the members of your group while utilizing said facilities. You are reserving a facility in a Johnson County Conservation Board park. ALL COUNTY PARK RULES AND STATE LAWS ARE ENFORCED. Failure to clean up the facility or surrounding area as outlined, or failure to comply with park rules or state laws may result in enforcement action. Johnson County Conservation may take any legal action necessary to recover damages to county property. Check-Out Time is 12:00 p.m. on day of departure. Contact the Park Office if you have any questions about park rules, policies, or any special request (319-645-2315).

The site must be registered under the name of an adult person who will occupy the site

Campers must have some type of camping equipment that will occupy the site on the campsite before the campsite is registered. If camping equipment is left on a campsite, the campsite must be registered.  

One camping unit per campsite is allowed with an additional tent allowed for dependent children

Check out time is 12:00 PM.

Trees or shrubs may not be cut or damaged in any way.   

All campers are expected to keep their campsite clean and in an orderly manner at all times.

Guests must be out of the park by 10:30 PM.

Fires are allowed in designated receptacles only.

Park Rangers are given the authority to refuse rental privileges and rescind any and all rental permits for cause.   

All rules and regulations of Johnson County Conservation Board facilities and parks are in effect.

This 12-acre area located 3 miles west of Lone Tree and one-half mile south of Highway 22 was acquired in 1971. The Iowa River bounds the area on the west. The English River flows into the Iowa just a few hundred feet south of the boat ramp. The well shaded river banks and a new boat ramp completed in 2005 make this a consistently popular fishing area. Facilities on the site include the boat ramp, picnic tables, 4 primitive campsites, and a latrine. New fire slabs have been installed. The camping fee is $10 per night for each of the 4 campsites. No more than one camping party or camping unit shall occupy a campsite. An additional tent may be used for children under eighteen years old.

Check-In / Out Availability Check-in is after 06:00 AM and check-out is before 12:00 PM.
