Hickory Hill Shelter, located in Buffalo Creek Park, is a seasonal ”open air” shelter that is available for reservations from April 15 thru October 15 annually.

Shelter amenities include:
- 30' X 48' - 1440 sq. feet of sheltered use area (100 people)
- 15 picnic tables under roof
- Two charcoal grills & 2 refuse cans
- 2 double electrical outlets
- Parking for 14 cars directly adjacent (additional parking for 15 cars within short walking distance)
- Pit vault restroom nearby
- Horseshoe court and playground adjacent
- Campground nearby
- Pressurized drinking water at shelter
- Lighting available for evening use

Hickory Hill Shelter is available for reservations from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM daily from April 15 thru October 15.
Closures
The facility may be closed on occasion due to extreme weather conditions, or it becomes inaccessible due to naturally occurring conditions.
