Event Summary

Naturalist Found, Naturalist Lost, the Story of Lulu Berry -   In the first part of the last century Benton County entomologist Lulu Berry became nationally recognized for her work with Underwing Moths (Catacola). Lulu was a correspondent with Bert Porter and is said to have traded specimens. Her life however was haunted by a series of unfortunate events. This is a tale of discovery and mystery that played to an unfortunate end. Local retired Biology Teacher and Butterfly expert Dennis Schlicht will share with us, this intriguing tale.

Free, but you can save a spot by signing up or just show up!  When we wrap up you may wish to hang around and bring a sack lunch to enjoy with your new acquaintances.  This is a new adventure for us, we hope it catches on! Program scheduled from 10:30-11:30 AM.
