O.W.L.S. - Older Wiser Livelier Seniors - Jesse Ellis on Birding Basics

Event Summary

Birding Basics: So, you bought a birdfeeder and now you’re hooked. What next? We will discuss ways new birders can explore the activity, including binoculars, apps, bird books, and some basic approaches to finding and learning new birds. There are too many birds to see in Linn County to tell you how to identify them all in only one hour, so we’ll focus more on the “how-to”.   Free, but you can save a spot by signing up or just show up!

When we wrap up you may wish to hang around and bring a sack lunch to enjoy with your new acquaintances.  This series is a new adventure for us, we hope it catches on! Program scheduled from 1:00-2:00 PM.

These O.W.L.S. programs are scheduled for Baby Boomers and older folks to interact with those of a similar maturity and are meant to keep us engaged mentally and physically in the world around us.  We hope you can join in!
