Event Summary
Sunday, March 29, Noon to 3 p.m., at Bender Pool - Cedar Rapids. *Note that the CRPR page has it also listed as a Kayak Clinic.*
Learn and practice the basics of kayaking and stand-up paddleboard (SUP) in the warm and controlled environment of Bender Pool. All equipment is provided. You bring swimwear and wear it in the pool. Experienced paddlers will share their skill and enthusiasm with the beginners and those who wish to improve their own abilities.
Bring your own boat if you can or let us know and we can provide limited boats in select sizes. Pre-registration is through Cedar Rapids Parks and Recreation. $10 per person and open to ages 10 and up. Program Scheduled from Noon to 3 PM. Additional dates for drop-in sessions include: 2025 - October 26; November 23; December 21; in 2026 - January 4; February 1; and March 1.
