Louisa County Conservation Board Schedule:

The Louisa County Conservation Board meets regularly on the first Monday of each month at the Conservation Office. There are often exceptions to this rule including rescheduling around holidays and meetings at our various parks. Please be sure to check the agenda or call 319-523-8381 if you plan to attend.

Agendas and Minutes

Agendas are posted at least 24 hours before the next meeting. Agendas can be found below, on the Lousia County Website, and on the doors of the Conservation Office and Courthouse.

Meeting minutes are available below for the last 12 months. Signed copies of minutes are available in the Conservation Office. Contact us if you need minutes from previous years. The minutes are unofficial drafts, until after the next regular meeting, when they are approved by the Board.

LCCB Appointment

Interested in serving on the Louisa County Conservation Board?

To meet the vacancy deadline, please have your application turned in by noon on October 5, 2026. Completed applications should be sent to the Louisa County Auditor’s Office, 117 Main Street, PO Box 186, Wapello, IA 52653-0186 or via email to sschnedler@louisacountyia.gov

Usually a 5-year position, the Board of Supervisors are currently seeking to fill a vacancy. Applicant's term will end December 31, 2029. Term will begin upon appointment.

Farm Ground Bids

Louisa County Conservation is currently accepting farm ground bids. Leases will be valid from March 1, 2027 – February 28, 2030 (3-year contract). Bid sheets can be found here.
