This shelter can be rented for $50/day. Shelter includes picnic tables, grill areas, and close access to the lake for fishing. To rent the Sunset Shelter House at Sand Lake Recreation Area, renters must reserve the shelter house in person at the Grimes Farm Conservation Center, located at 2349 233rd Street, Marshalltown, Iowa 50158. We will reserve the shelter once we receive a rental agreement and payment. You can make reservations up to one year in advance.

Location Located to the east of the lake by the main parking lot.
