River's Bend Wildlife Area
River's Bend Wildlife Area has something for everyone. A 20 acre lake with fishing jetties and concrete boat ramp allow for fishing, paddling and NON-GAS powered boats. Sorry NO SWIMMING ALLOWED.
For the campers out there, our pull through campsites make settling down pretty easy. Each of the 10 sites have water and 50 AMP hookups; a dump station is located on the drive out for your convenience. A playground, picnic shelter and restrooms can be used by campers and day-use visitors alike.
The cost to camp $20/ night, please register at the self registration booth. We do not take reservations.
Hunting is allowable from October 15th - January 10 in accordance with the Iowa DNR regulations.
Operating Hours & Seasons
4:00 AM - 10:30 PM for those visitors not camping
