Event Summary
Nature, art, and conservation create a beautiful synergy in this fun painting series in our Story County parks! Join Naturalist Amber for step-by-step gouache painting instruction while discovering some of the park’s unique features. With helpful tips, clear guidance, and plenty of creative encouragement, you’ll create a beautiful nature-inspired painting to take home and enjoy. This relaxed, family-friendly program is designed for ages 8 and up. All materials are provided—just bring your imagination!
Recommended for ages 8+.
Meet at the Dakins Lake Shelter on the South side of the park. We will be painting outside, so please dress for both the weather and painting. You are welcome to bring a water bottle and a snack to enjoy while painting as well.
Unless otherwise stated, refunds can be issued less a $5.00 processing fee per event for cancellations prior to the registration deadline. No refunds will be made after the registration deadline.
