OWLS (Older Wiser Livelier Souls): Iowa Natural Heritage Foundation

McFarland Park, Story County

Thursday, March 2, 2023

Since their founding in 1979, Iowa Natural Heritage Foundation has helped protect over 185,000 acres of Iowa prairies, woodlands, lakes and rivers and blazed the way for Iowa’s trails. Chances are, you’ve already visited an INHF project. Communications Specialist Erica Place will cover this statewide nonprofit’s main areas of focus with an emphasis on permanent land protection, multi-use trail establishment and active land stewardship.

These free programs are held the first Thursday of the month from 10:30 to 11:30 AM.  Doors open at 10:00 AM for coffee/tea and chatting.

(Older, Wiser, Livelier Souls) are designed for “boomers” or older, but anyone can attend.
