Rain Barrel Workshop

McFarland Park , Story County

Event Summary

Become a water conservationist during this simple rain barrel workshop. Enjoy an educational presentation from the ISU Extension and Outreach Natural Resources Field Specialist Kaycie Waters-Brocka about the importance of rain barrels. Then, create your very own take home barrel. With your barrel you can reduce the amount of water you use, protect your drainage systems and waterways around you, and contribute to environmental improvement efforts. This fun workshop can be done independently or you can bring your spouse or roommates to create a barrel together!

If you have them, please bring your own safety glasses. We will have extra.

Registration Deadline: Friday, March 8th by 4:00 PM. Cost: $45/barrel

Unless otherwise stated, refunds can be issued less a $5.00 processing fee per event for cancellations prior to the registration deadline. No refunds will be made after the registration deadline.
