Event Summary

Travel on a geode hunting excursion this fall! Spend Saturday, September 19th and Sunday, September 20th in Keokuk, Iowa with Naturalist Jessica Lancial. Keokuk is well-known for its great abundance and variety of geodes. During this trip, participants will learn how to identify geodes, visit two privately-owned digging sites, and take home geodes of their own. Cost will cover transportation, hotel, three meals (does not include dinner on Sunday), snacks, access to a geode cracker, and pamphlet. This trip is for adults 18 years and older. Participants should expect some physical  exertion such as lifting, digging, and hiking on uneven terrain and wet areas.
