Butterfly Field Day

Event Summary

Hike McFarland Park and hunt for butterflies with Reiman Gardens staff. The butterfly survey will serve as a practice session for Iowa Butterfly Survey Network volunteers, but all are welcome. Discover some of Iowa’s beautiful bugs, and learn more about getting involved in a statewide citizen science project. Be prepared to hike up to 1.5 miles. Children under 16 must be supervised by an adult. Event will be canceled in the event of rain. This is program is free and registration is not required.
