Meet the Animals & SDSU Ice Cream Truck

Event Summary

Have you ever wanted to touch a snake or see an owl up close? Come meet the animals that live at the Nature Center during this outdoors open-house style event. Other critters you may encounter include box turtles, fish, and a Screech Owl! Stations to meet the animals will be outside on the Nature Center lawn. While you’re here, grab an ice cream treat from the SDSU Ice Cream Truck. A portion of the ice cream proceeds will benefit the care of our educational ambassadors and our educational programs. Registration not required; parking is limited. A 30-passenger shuttle service with Black Tie Limousine & Shuttle Service will be available to the Nature Center from the Sioux City Railroad Museum, approximately 1.5 miles south of the Nature Center’s entrance. – This event is co-sponsored by the Woodbury County Conservation Foundation.
