Event Summary

Embark on a fungi-filled adventure with the Prairie States Mushroom Club! Join an expert guide for an afternoon fungus finding foray to learn about poisonous, edible, and unusual wild mushrooms. Whether you're a seasoned enthusiast or a first-time explorer, this event is perfect for all experience levels—no prior mushroom knowledge required! We recommend long pants and hiking shoes. Bring water to stay hydrated and bug repellent for mosquitoes and ticks. A small knife and basket/paper bag are necessities for collecting mushrooms. Limited to 20 participants.
