Coffee and Conservation: My Owl Prowls

Event Summary

Join us for coffee and conversations about conservation! Each month features different topics related to Iowa’s natural history. This month Mark Haindfield, former Woodbury County Conservation Park Manager, will present ‘My Owl Prowls.’  He will share some videos and images of owls that offer a glimpse into their lives. Some examples include Northern Saw-whet Owl regurgitating a pellet and an Eastern Screech Owl being ‘mobbed’ on a calm afternoon.  Refreshments are provided.
