Discover Leeper's Prairie Preserve in Clarksville

Leeper's Prairie Preserve was acquired in 1994 as a donation in memory of Lester Leeper.  Forty acres in size, the area is primarily native vegetation with a small creek running through the center.  In 2008 beavers took up residence and created a dam on the creek forming a wetland in the middle of the area.  Leeper's Prairie Preserve is a wildlife refuge, no public hunting or trapping is allowed.
