- This family event is free to the public.
- IA residents do not need a fishing license as Cop's N' Bobbers Fishing Derby is held during DNR FREE fishing weekend (June 4,5,6 2021)
- All ages can fish since it is free fishing weekend, but prizes are only for ages 3 to 14.
- Each participant will go home with a prize.
- Feel free to bring your own fishing pole and tackle as there will be a limited number of fishing poles available to barrow.

Cops N' Bobbers was created to help bring law enforcement agencies together with the community they serve. This is a great opportunity to break down barriers and get to know the your local law enforcement officers. Come learn about fishing pole care/maintenance, fish identification, fish regulations, water safety, and other basic fishing instructions.
Rain Date will be Sunday June 6th and move to the Beach Picnic Shelter f we are rained out on Saturday.
Program attending requirements due to Covid-19 are possible people limit, face masking, and 6 feet social distancing. This is all subject to change or cancellation depending on the Covid-19 situation at the time of the program.
