Johnston Area


Johnston Area is located 1.5 miles east of Rodney. This area has 20.46 total acres, which includes approximately 12.7 acres of water. In 1977, Peters Construction Co. donated 12.7 acres to the Conservation Board. In addition, in 1980, the Conservation Board purchased 7.74 additional acres. Primitive camping is allowed with self-registration. Non- electric camping is $15.00 per night. This area has a gravel boat ramp, a fish cleaning station, a well with a hand pump, three upright grills, three ground grills, and four picnic tables.

Location

Located 1.5 miles east of Rodney on Oak Avenue across the bridge and north of Peters Park.

Rock boat ramp, primitive camping, and fishing.
