Campground Host
Jackson County Conservation is seeking two Campground Hosts for the 2024 camping season:
1. One host at South Sabula Lake Park, Sabula, Iowa
2. One host at Spruce Creek Park, Bellevue, Iowa
The campground host is a contract labor and is responsible for the registration of campers, maintaining records using a laptop and spreadsheets, cleaning and upkeep of the shower building and other campground facilities, selling firewood to campers, and other tasks needed to maintain the campground. Volunteer Opportunities
Become a Conservation Board Member
Volunteer terms are 5 years for our 5-member board. One position becomes available each January. Apply by December 31st. Meetings are held monthly the 3rd Tuesday at 6:00 pm. Most meetings are held at the Hurstville Interpretive Center; some meetings are held at county parks throughout the year. Click here for an application.
